SMOKY GAP - GATEWAY TO ADVENTURE

Smoky Gap is a fictional town set in the 1920's designed to immerse guests into an environment that will encourage play, photo opportunities and offer entertainment throughout the day and night.

This new retail development is part of a larger entertainment complex of 200 acres near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The destination will feature shops, restaurants, themed experiences, theme parks, hotels and the largest Buc-ee's travel centre in the country. This unique take on a retail, dining and entertainment destination will attract footfall from afar as a living, breathing adventure with something new to discover around each corner.

Firefly Creations worked in partnership with JAI Architects to develop the storytelling and thematic design to work in harmony with the overall masterplan and building design.

RETAIL OF THE FUTURE

The high street and retail destinations are being challenged more than ever by the convenience of online shopping and delivery.

The Firefly design team are tackling this challenge head on with new thinking developed from decades of experience in themed and theatrical entertainment design.

We work with our clients to understand the needs of their tenants and the expectations of the audience to concept and master plan developments supporting new business strategies. These strategies are aimed at driving new footfall and repeat visitation encouraging visitors to invest their time at a unique destination through the creation of memorable experiences.
